Diversey Harbor Tree Care

June 7, 2014 | 9am - 12pm

Looking to enjoy a morning on the Lakefront? Join us as we give some TLC to a few young trees in Diversey Harbor. We'll be working in the area between the two Native American Bronze monuments (titled The Alarm and Signal of Peace Monument). Getting to the Harbor is easiest by bike along the Lake Front bike trail. There is metered parking by West Diversey Parkway near the Diversey driving range, then walk east and use the pedestrian walkway to cross to the east side of Lake Shore Drive and go north to the workday location. CTA buses stop at the intersection of Diversey and Sheridan and walk east  to the pedestrian walkway strattling Lake Shore Drive. To volunteer for this event please contact Ted Jindrich or by phone at 773-447-7203.

Open to the general public
