Turn your school garden or classroom windowsill into a living laboratory by joining the Green Teacher Network (GTN), an innovative project that presents plant-related, standards-based lessons for teaching math, science, reading, social studies, and other subjects.
Educators possessing all levels of gardening experience will benefit from this rich resource of green activities, including:
GTN occurs four times during the school year, and Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDUs) are given for participation in each session.

Created as a vehicle for action-based teaching, as well as to sustain existing school gardens, GTN results from collaboration between Openlands, the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance, and the Chicago Botanic Garden.
