Monthly Lunchtime Tree Walk: “It’s the Time of the Season for Loving, Trees”

Come see the splendor of autumn at Chicago’s Museum Campus. In 2009, improvements to Solidarity Drive were undertaken. Many new trees, shrubs, and perennials were planted near the bike trail under Solidarity Drive.

An experienced forester will be guiding a tour of the parkway trees throughout the campus. Several cultivars of varying genera will be examined. Genera include Acer, Betula, Celtis, Crataegus, Malus, Tilia, and Ulmus
