Monthly Lunchtime Treewalk: "Walking with Trees"

March 2, 2016 | 12:30-2:30pm

Answer me this:

Pests bother me none and resistant to rot,
Pierce my flesh, the milk flows free
Eremontherium may have eaten me before my wood was hewn and arrows loosed.

Well if that hasn't garnered your attention, come see it in person! An experienced forester will be guiding a tour of the parkway trees of the Roosevelt Intermodal Transit Station followed by the City's 2013 introduction of a new parkway genus. Please meet at Agora, the 106 nine-foot tall headless torsos made of cast iron, located at the NE corner of Roosevelt Road and Michigan Avenue.
