Public Lecture on Native American Use of Mussels

Professor James Theler of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse will deliver a lecture on the use of mussels by Native Americans in our region's rivers and creeks.

This lecture, which is open to the general public, is part of a two-day workshop on mussels sponsored by Openlands and the Kishwaukee River Ecosystem Partnership. It is hosted by the Smeja Family Foundation.
