Roots and Routes to Grow: A Community Tree Planting Day

May 10, 2014 | 9am - 2pm

This event will bring together over 800 volunteers to plant young native trees within a 20-acre segment of the larger Burnham Wildlife Corridor currently under development. This new natural area, which will offer a woodland environment for both people and wildlife to enjoy, will also provide much-needed habitat for the millions of migratory birds that pass through this area every year. To volunteer for this tree planting event register here.
