Tree Planting at Major Taylor Trail

September 17, 2016 | 9am - 1pm

Come plant trees along the living monument to Marshall “Major” Taylor, an African American bicycle racer, civil rights pioneer and author.  Major Taylor was the Michael Jordan of his day,  the preeminent force in bicycle racing from 1895 to 1910, the world's most popular professional sport at the time.  This will be our 4th time planting along the trail, come help plant the 300th tree!
