Aimee Collins, Openlands Lakeshore Preserve Site Manager

Prior to joining Openlands, Aimee worked as the central coordinator for the Friends of Hackmatack, a citizen group helping to promote the establishment of the proposed Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge. She has a diverse background in the environmental field, including collecting biological data and igniting prescribed fires in the mountains of northern California, coordinating a successful open space referendum campaign, writing grants for park development and open space preservation, and managing volunteers at the grassroots level.
