Kate Schriner

Kate Schriner is the Manager of Institutional Giving at Openlands and works with program staff to share the stories and impact of the organization’s work with current and potential funders. Kate believes that with the support of like-minded institutional partners, Openlands’ mission of preserving regional natural treasures and connecting people to healthy land and waters will benefit all of us today and in the future. Kate has worked in fundraising since 2017, she previously held a role at Rush University Medical Center in the Office of Philanthropy. Kate is a 2020-2021 member of the Development Leadership Consortium’s Management Fellows Program. She is also a seasoned trivia host and a licensed massage therapist in Illinois. Kate holds a BA in writing for performance from the University of Missouri at Columbia.
